About Us…

Paul Robertson, known to his friends as 'Barney', commenced his apprenticeship in 1985 with an established Orbost plumber. In 1991, after 6 years, Barney and his wife, Gail, purchased the business and registered Orbost Plumbing Pty Ltd.

The team are as experienced doing large commercial jobs as they are residential homes and holiday houses and have gained credentials as Authorised Insurance repairers for many of the main insurance companies and real estate agents in the area. Comfortable engaging owners/landlords, agents or tenants, the East Gippsland business has grown to a first port of call for general plumbing repairs and installation, gas fitting appliance installation as well as more industry specific tasks like fire protection device service, repair and installation and asbestos removal for asbestos cement pipes and associated fittings.

As a registered building practitioner with the Victorian Building Authority, Orbost Plumbing hold current licensing and registrations of a professional plumbing practitioner (VBA Practitioner ID# 30092) and offer the additional business services of Excavator Hire (Wet Hire), Water Cartage and River Sand supply.

Our services extend throughout the East Gippsland region including but not limited to Orbost, Marlo, Newmerella, Cann River, Noorinbee, Bemm River, Bonang, Goongerah, Bendoc Cape Conran, Cabbagetree Creek, Simpson Creek, Nowa Nowa, Buchan, Genoa, Mallacoota.
